Birding Buhoma Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Buhoma is one of the sectors of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and a best birding site in the western Uganda. It’s in the northern sector of this park. This park is home to over 360 bird species and Buhoma is key in hosting these birds. Buhoma is also one of the stations for tracking the endangered mountain Gorillas. You also have a chance to hike and do cultural encounters the area is full of a community rich with culture.

Getting to Buhoma sector Uganda for birding
You can reach buhoma by road driving about 8 to 9 hours through Masaka and Mbarara to Kabaale. By air you will have a flight of about 45 mins from Entebbe or Kajjansi to Kihihi Airfield.
