Honeyguides in Uganda
Are there honeyguides in Uganda? These are some of the only birds that feed on wax. The honeyguides are named after the behavior of the greater honeyguide that leads larger animals to the bees such that they can destroy the bee hive and then the honeyguides can feed on the wax. There are about 13 species of the family that occurs in Uganda of the 17 in total that occurs in the world.
