1 Day Rwanda Canopy Walk Tour

1 Day canopy walk tour takes you to Nyungwe forest national park in Rwanda which is a rich botanical diversity hosting over 200 species of trees, and over 300 bird species. The forest is also home to 13 species of primates such as Olive baboons, Ruwenzori colobus, Velvet monkeys, silver monkey, L’Hoest’s monkeys, Grey-cheeked manga-bey, red-tailed monkey among others.

1 Day Nyungwe forest national park safari will start early in the morning with a pick up from your hotel after your breakfast and drive to Nyungwe for canopy walk. This will be at 1:00 pm in the afternoon. You will drive through the winding roads through the huge tea fields and get a beautiful view of the hilly green hills that make Rwanda to be called the land of a thousand hills.

You will also experience the cornered roads because of the many hills in the country. The guide will be sharing the history of the park and the different activities and trails that are trekked in the park, in this tour we will do canopy walk  in Rwanda which is an exciting activity and gives travelers an opportunity to see several tree species which have existed for decades and centuries

The walk is 70 meters above the ground level and 90 meters long also the platform is above a steep and deep valley trotting across massive forest. We will be back in Kigali on the same day to end your 1 Day Rwanda canopy walk tour.
