2 Day Bird watching Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru national park safari takes you to discover the two great rift valley lakes for birding, wildlife viewing, photography and scenery exploration. You will travel in our fully customized safari vehicle and spend the night in a camp located at the shores of the beautiful Lake Naivasha. Your birding guide will help you identify several birds, animals and natural ecosystems.

Day 1: Drive from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha through Hells Gate
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru – Drive Back to Nairobi
Have a very early morning breakfast and set off for Lake Naivasha through Hells Gate. This journey takes you via the floor of The Great Rift Valley where you will have a stopover for scenery viewing, photography and escarpment watching. Arrive at your booked lodge, carry some picnic lunch and head to Hells Gate where you will take the bikes at the park entrance to enjoy a cycling safari with a help of your guide. Alternatively; you may opt to embark on an 8km trek to the gorges to explore the ancient and historic caves of the park. Later, exit the park and take the boat to Crescent Island for guided nature walks to spot several animals, birds and enjoy nature. The boat ride is also a great opportunity to see several hippo and Kingfisher among other birds. Retire and head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Camp Carnelley’s

Have an early morning breakfast at 6.00am and drive to Lake Nakuru national park for birding morning game drive with a chance of spotting animals and birds like flamingoes. Also visit the scenic observation hill or baboon cliff to see the lake from the view point. Lake Nakuru is a home to over 100 bird species migrated from lake Bogoria, lake Naivasha and Amboseli national park. Spend more than a half day inside the park before exiting and driving back to Nairobi to end your 2 Day Bird watching Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru national park.
