2 Days Gorilla Trekking From Kigali

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali Airport / Kigali City – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Meet and greet by our company representative and driver guide in Kigali City for briefing about your tour and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP for gorilla adventure with an en-route stop to explore Lake Bunyonyi with a canoe boat, have lunch and continue with your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest through different features including tropical rain forests and the terraced hills of Kigezi famously known as the Switzerland of Africa to Ruhija tracking sector. Upon your arrival at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP, check in at your lodge and if time allows go for an evening community walk that will offer you great opportunities to meet indigenous people who are still living in their primitive life style and with less knowledge of technology. Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP – Morning gorilla trekking –Return to Kigali City / Kigali International Airport

Wake up early for breakfast and depart for morning pre tracking briefing at the park information center. Later go for your longtime awaited activity “Gorilla tracking” the time taken while tracking is not known but it is expected to be between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the Gorilla family you are allocated to. During gorilla tracking, expect to discover other primates such as Chimpanzees, black and white colombus monkey, vervet monkey, and many others. On encounter, spend an hour of exhilarating moments with these gentle giants. Enjoy your packed lunch and transfer return to Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali City
