Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Meet and greet your bird watching guide and drive drive on tarmac road for about 120 km to Tarangire National Park for game drive / birding safari to look for birds like; ashy starlings, red and yellow barbets, yellow necked spur fowl, speckle fronted weaver, northern white crowned shrike, grey headed kingfishers, red bellied parrot, francolins, lilac breasted rollers, red billed hornbill, falcons, ostriches and many more. You will also spot several wildlife such as Lions, Zebra, Oryx, Leopards, Elephant, dik dik, Buffalo, Python, Impala and more. Dinner and overnight at your booked lodge.

Day 2: Birding Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early morning for breakfast and set off for Ngorongoro Crater birding tour to look for birds like; African spoonbill, Egyptian vulture, Hildebrandt’s spurfowl, Anteater chat, Capped wheatear, Augur buzzard, Eastern double-collared sunbird, Fan-tailed widow bird, Kenya rufous sparrow, Greater flamingo, Scarlet chested sunbird, Hartlaub’s turaco, Hildebrandt’s starling, Jackson’s widowbird, Kori bustard, Namaqua dove, Red-and-yellow barbet, White-eyed slaty flycatcher,  Livingstone turaco, Rufous chatterer, Rufous-tailed weaver , Rosy-throated longclaw, Schalow’s wheatear, Speke’s weaver, Verreaux’s eagle, and the White-naped raven among others.

Most safari activities are done from the Crater floor which is about 19.2 km of diameter, 610m deep and 304 sq. km. You will encounter animals like Rhinos, Leopards, Lions, Buffalos and Elephants among others that normally live in this wonderful caldera. Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ or the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World’ by most adventure enthusiasts. After your tour, drive to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Bird Lake Manyara national park- Transfer to Arusha

Have an early morning breakfast and later drive to Lake Manyara National Park for half day birding safari. Lake Manyara national park is a paradise for hard-core and amateur birders.
