Lake Victoria and Murchison falls are home to the Nile perch fish- largest fresh water fish species in the world. The other fish species that may be targeted during your sport fishing adventure include; tilapia, cat fish among others

We will start our sport fishing safari in Lake Victoria and Murchison falls (filming fishing safari) at Uganda Wildlife Education Centre which is a very short walk-able distance to the pier for the start and end of your fishing excursion.
Full day sport fishing will be done around local islands located about a 45minute boat ride from Entebbe. We will later head to Murchison falls national park to continue with our sport fishing adventure in Uganda

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival
Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport; meet and greet our guide for a smooth transfer to your hotel for briefing and relaxation. Diner and overnight at k-2 Hotel

Day 2: Fishing on Lake Victoria
Have breakfast and drive to Entebbe for whole day fishing on Lake Victoria. Sport Fishing will be done around local islands in a boat ride from Entebbe. The actual fishing spots will depend upon the weather and how the fish are biting. At certain times of the year the lake can be very rough with large swells and so then we tend to utilize the sheltered bays for fishing. We will have our lunch and later proceed with our fishing safari. Diner and overnight at k-2 Hotel

Day 3: Half day Fishing on Lake Victoria and transfer to Kampala for a city tour
Have breakfast and transfer to Lake Victoria for half day fishing at new spots. We will have hot lunch and later head to Kampala for an evening city tour to explore historical and unique cultural sites. Diner and overnight at Fairway Hotel

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
Have breakfast and then drive to Murchison Falls for sport fishing adventure. We will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for white rhinos tracking. We will proceed to Murchison fall national park and check in at Pakuba safari Lodge to prepare your fishing equipment ready next day sport fishing activity

Day 5: Fishing on the Victoria Nile.
After an early breakfast, go for full day fishing trip on the Victoria Nile. Diner and overnight at Pakuba safari Lodge

Day 6: Fishing Below Murchison Falls.
After breakfast, go for an early morning fishing trip at the bottom of the Murchison Falls, where the Park originated its name from. River Nile squashes through a 7meter gap plunging 40 meters to give the Murchison falls. In the evening, choose either to return to the bottom of the falls for further discovery of the best spots to catch the Nile Perch Or relax in your hotel. Diner and overnight at Pakuba safari Lodge

Day 7: Fishing on Victoria Nile.
Have breakfast and head back to the park for entire day fishing on Victoria Nile at new spots. Diner and overnight at Pakuba safari Lodge

Day 8: Drive to Entebbe.
Have breakfast and drive back to Entebbe to catch up your flight back home.
