The vegetation on Mount Karisimbi is very unique and offers a rewarding experience to tourists seeking for botanical travel experience due to the presence of both local and exotic plant species found on different mountain zones.  The mount Karisimbi features several distinct zones that differ slightly from the dry western slopes to the humid eastern slopes. These zones begin at about 1,300 meters and continue to the summit, at 4,507 meters.

Mount Bisoke raise at 3,711 meters and it is slightly shorter than Mt Karisimbi but offers one of the most challenging hiking experiences and safaris in Rwanda. Visitors trek from Bisate Village for like 2hours before starting to trail through the dense jungle to the summit of the mountain.

At the top of mount Bisoke, you will find Lake Ngezi, which is one of the most scenic lakes in Rwanda though you cannot swim in this beautiful lake but you can enjoy the magnificent views, sights and sounds of the wild. Guests also take lots of photographs to commemorate their visit to the top of Mount Bisoke.
