Birding tours in Uganda can be done all year-round since most of the species are resident birds however, the best time for bird watching in Uganda is from late May through September, when there is less rain and food is abundant.
The main nesting season in Bwindi and Mgahinga national parks happens in May and June, but from mid-April to mid-May the rains might still be too heavy.
February and early March are dry months and you can bird Toro-Semliki as well as Murchison Falls National park.
