Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha

Meet and greet your birding guide and set off for a scenic drive via the great north road to Lake Naivasha. You will have a stop-over at the view points of the great rift valley for stunning views; arriving at Lake Naivasha on time for lunch and bird walking safari in search for herons, black crakes, fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters among other species. We also have an evening tour to the Elsa mere Center. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha – Bird Lake Nakuru national park

Have breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru national park which is regarded by avid birders’ as the greatest world ornithological spectacle on the Earth to spot the millions of pink flamingoes lining on the shores of lake Nakuru. You will have a game drive en route before checking-in at Lake Nakuru Lodge for Lunch. Later go for a walk along lake shores to see a number of wild animals including the White Rhino, Black Rhino, and the Rothschild Giraffe. You will also look out for birds like the Lesser and Greater Flamingoes, Tawny Eagle, African fish Eagle, Cliff Chat, Green Wood Hoopoes, Great White and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants. Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Wake up early morning and head to Masai mara game reserve for full day bird watching in search for birds like Abdim’s stork, African finfoot, Jackson’s widowbird, African wood owl, Ayres’s hawk eagle, Cinnamon-breasted bunting, Denham’s bustard, Giant kingfisher, White-bellied go-away bird, Grey-crested helmet-shrike, Grey penduline tit, Hildebrandt’s starling, Lazy cisticola, Ostrich, Red-throated tit, Yellow-throated sandgrouse, Ross’s turaco, Rosy-throated longclaw, Southern ground hornbill, Rufous-bellied heron, Rufous-throated wryneck, Saddle-billed stork, Schalow’s turaco, Secretary bird, Silverbird, Swahili sparrow, Tabora cisticola, Temminck’s courser, Purple grenadier, Trilling cisticola, Usambiro barbet, Woolly-necked stork, Yellow-mantled widowbird among others.
